Kosovo Agency of Statistics, respectively the Department of Economic Statistics and National Accounts, at the Conference held on Friday 28.09.2012, released  the data on Gross Domestic Product in 2011.

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Kosovo in 2011 was 4 776.1 million Euros(at current prices). In 2011, GDP per capita was  2 650 Euros.

Real GDP growth rate for 2011 compared to 2010 was 4.5%.
This increase was due to:
• Real increase of  household final consumption,
• Gross capital formation and
• Export of goods and services

The share of household final consumption in 2011 was 88.4% of GDP, while in 2010 its share was 89.1 percent of GDP. Gross capital formation contributed with  32.1 percent to the GDP in 2011, while in 2010  it was 31.3%. General government expenditure in 2011 represented 16.2 percent of GDP, in 2010 they were 16.5%
